The Cheapest Japanese Restaurant in Bangkok?

by Tetoro on July 3, 2012

A small Japanese restaurant located under a mall, with cheap meals and good food.

Takeshiya, the cheapest Japanese in the Asoke area. 120 Bahts for a Saba set : boneless fish with rice, miso soup and a small salad. The fish and the sauce were excellent, but some fishes were a bit smaller than the ones you can find in more expensive Japanese places. Of course, free green tea is offered and can be refilled like in any Japanese restaurant. The rice was not so well cooked. The service is slow and even though we reserved a table, the restaurant was full when we arrived. The room is blank and people are passing by, but it is not too noisy and for that price don’t expect too much.

The address :  Midtown Asoke Plazaplus d’infos‎ Road (Sukhumvit21), Khlong-toey Nuea, Asok Montri, Vadhana, Bangkok 10110.
