City Of Heroes Closing
This MMORPG was announced today as soon to be shut down. The Community Manager of the game announced a few hours ago that the developers of the game, Paragorn Studios, were undertaken by the publisher NCsoft, in order to “realign of company focus and publishing support”.
This news is bizarre knowing that when the game changed from a paid subscription model to a free-to-play model, more people came (some even came back) to play the game. This interest helped the game make more profit thanks to the new VIP access and the virtual store where people could buy powers, stuffs, etc.
This cold blooded execution was a choc to the great community of the game. The players were suprised by this announce because of the good news they were told even last month, and the constant reassuring communication of the developers when they were told that new content was developed continuously.
Wait and see for more information.
